Meet director Erin Feldges.
The Northwest Open was an event that would rival any National or International event during the ADFPA days. Meet director Erin Feldges took Powerlifting and brought it into the most unlikely of places being a health club. The Northwest Open had the finest warm up rooms, finest platforms, great announcers, and deep competition in almost every weight class. Erin Feldges made the event an annual one that went for at least 7 years.
Click on results to see local greats who went onto the National level like Mitch Edlistien, Rick Kolbeck, Pat Beaumaster, and Jim Cahill (whom took the Northwest Cup. That award is given to those who total closest to the National total) with a massive 760 deadlift at 22 years old in the 242 weight class.
You also see Cheryl Esperancilla (AKA Cheryl Anderson) in one of her first meets. Note she pulls now more then she totals then! And you get to see me Brad Madvig at the 242 weight class.. (No really!)
