Minnesota at Women's Nationals.

  At this years Women's Nationals Minnesota is sending its largest number of lifters to date. Some lifters are seasoned veterans and some will be experiencing their very first nationals. Heading to this great event are;

Maura Shuttleworth ( Holds all Jr state records for 114 and 123 weight class. Holds state Open 114 bench record. Placed 3rd at last years Women's Nationals)

Fran Huston (This will be her first National event. Holds all master state records in her weight class)

Angela Simmons (Holds Open State bench records in 3 different weight classes. Holds multiple Masters records , Placed 3rd at Masters Bench Worlds.)

Jane Larson Welborn  (Has competed in only 3 full meets and now heading to her first National event)

Judy Drenth ( Holder of two Masters state deadlift records.)

Vera Nelson (Holder of all Master State Records in the 123 weight class and two in the 114 weight class. Placed 2nd at Masters Worlds)

And our friend from North Dakota Karen Bakke.

  I am very happy to be joining these lifters on this trip. We hope to break lots of records, take lots of pictures and come home with some great stories to tell. Wish us luck!
