Minnesota lifters at Men's Open 2005
Minnesota headed down to the lone star state of Texas and they where hardly messing around. Representing Minnesota was Peter Wong, Tony Reid and Nick Tylutki. Peter unfortunately was unable to get a bench passed but did get a 450 squat to go. Tony Reid from Burnsville continues his rein in the top five in the 181s with a 1603 total including a 628 Deadlift (New State Open record). Nick Tylutki took on the 242 weight class and took 4th with a total of 1995. Nick continues to push the limit despite being a new father and coming into the 242 class giving up about 12 pounds to the other lifters. Nick also reset two of his records with an 804 squat and total. Over email he told me that he had trouble putting on weight for the event. Personally I wish I had that problem!
