MN USAPL NEWS

I have some early reports about IPF Masters Worlds from the USAPL forum. Many of our lifters traveled to this event and represented Minnesota well. Here is the report so far.
- Pat Beaumaster 1st Place
- Angela Simons 2nd Place
- Vera Nelson 2nd Place
- Brian Hudyama 2nd Place
- Shawn Cain 2nd Place
Shawn suffered a bicep injury at this event. He emailed me about the injury. Shawn says thanks to who wished him well for his recovery. Shawn feels the injury did not have to happen at all. The fact 3 guys blew their bicep he felt had to do with the poor equipment at the meet. The bar was so bad that it stopped rotating on one end. The bar problem was repaired by Sunday. Good gear he feels would have prevented the injuries to himself and the other lifters. And in his words..."no it was not the water"
Shawn suffered a total tendon tear.. Surgery is set for Monday. He ended the email saying "yes.. I will be back"
